Held to the standards this work demands
Biohazard cleaning is only safe when it is done to the right standards, with the right training, and disposed of lawfully. Here is how we work, the industry accreditations we hold, and what we are happy to evidence.
Independently accredited
We hold recognised UK health-and-safety and cleaning-industry accreditations, each assessed by an independent body. They are held by our parent company, CleanseForce, under which Biohazard Cleaning operates.

RoSPA
Health-and-safety performance recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

SafeContractor
SSIP-recognised health & safety contractor accreditation, independently assessed by Alcumus.

Alcumus SafePQQ
Pre-qualified as a safe, capable supplier through the Alcumus SafePQQ standard.
CHAS
SSIP-recognised health & safety accreditation under the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme.
SMAS Worksafe
SSIP-recognised health & safety contractor accreditation through SMAS Worksafe.

CSSA
Member of the Cleaning & Support Services Association, the UK cleaning-industry trade body.

FacilitiesLine
Listed as an approved specialist supplier with FacilitiesLine.
Operational standards on every job
The accreditations sit on top of the way we run each job, from the first risk assessment to the final waste-transfer note.
Fully insured
We carry the insurance appropriate to specialist biohazard work, including public liability. Documentation is available to clients on request.
Licensed clinical-waste disposal
All biohazard and clinical waste is removed and disposed of through a licensed waste carrier, in line with Environment Agency regulations, with the correct documentation.
DBS-checked, trained technicians
Our technicians are DBS-checked and trained in biohazard decontamination and bloodborne-pathogen safety, working to documented method statements.
Safe systems of work
Every job is risk-assessed. We use appropriate personal protective equipment and hospital-grade disinfectants, and follow health-and-safety best practice on site.
Confidentiality
We treat every job in strict confidence. Details are never shared, and we attend discreetly in unmarked vehicles.
Clear documentation
You receive a written price before work begins and, where relevant, waste-transfer documentation on completion.
Choosing a provider for this work is largely a question of trust. If it would help you to see our insurance, waste-carrier licence, accreditation certificates or method statements before going ahead, just ask, we are glad to provide them.
Ask us anythingCompliance you can check, care you can feel
Whatever has happened, a calm, trained coordinator is a message away, any hour of any day. We will explain what we can do and what it is likely to cost, no pressure, no obligation.
We answer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
